Build a five-field cron expression, read it in a sentence, and see the next five runs on this computer.
Free forever.
Five fields: minute, hour, day, month, weekday. When both the day and the weekday are restricted, a run happens if either one matches.
At 09:00, Monday through Friday.
How to build a cron expression
- Start from a preset or type five fields: minute, hour, day, month, weekday.
- Read the sentence under the field. Names such as MON and JAN are accepted.
- Check the next five runs. They use this computer’s clock, including daylight saving.
Questions
What if both the day and the weekday are set?
A run happens when either one matches. That is the usual cron rule, and it surprises people who expect both to be required. The sentence says so when it applies.
Does this include seconds or special letters?
No. It is the five-field form used by most schedulers. L, W and # are rejected rather than guessed.
