Privacy
Effective 27 October 2026
This policy covers https://etools.ganvya.com. Ganvya operates the site. The contact is ganvyatech@gmail.com. Ganvya does not publish a postal address for this site.
1. No account
eTools does not ask you to create an account. It does not ask for your name in order to run a tool. A file you open, and text you type into a tool, are processed in the browser. They are not uploaded to eTools as the way the tool works.
2. What stays on the device
PDFs, photos, spreadsheets, and typed values stay in the tab while you use the tool. Closing or reloading the tab drops the file from the page, except for the items in the next section, which this browser can keep on purpose.
- The PDF editor can keep images you add, in this browser’s database, so a later PDF can reuse them. The PDF itself is not kept after you leave.
- The engineering studio can keep the project you are drawing, in local storage on this browser.
- A theme choice can be kept so the next visit matches light or dark.
- A random id named etools-visitor can be kept so a finished tool can be counted. It is not your name.
- Background Remover can keep the cutout model in the browser cache after the first download.
The names and the way to remove them are on the cookies page and the settings page.
3. What a request can contain
Opening a page requests the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and images that make up the site. That request does not include a file you later drop on a tool. The host that delivers the site can see the usual connection data for that request, such as an IP address, the address of the page, and the browser. eTools does not add your file to that request.
Finishing a tool in the PDF, image, developer, generator, calculator, or engineering sections can send two fields to this site: the tool’s name, and the random id. It is sent at most once every 15 seconds from that tab. Opening a page is not counted. The file, the text you typed, and the result are not included. The site stores the id, the tool name, and a count. For a new id it also stores a hash of the connection address and the hour, so one network cannot invent unlimited new ids. The public count shows totals and the busier tools. It does not show the id or the address.
That count is not sent from a local development copy of the site.
Background Remover downloads a cutout model from Hugging Face the first time you use it, and it loads the runtime from jsDelivr. Those downloads are the model and the runtime. The photo is not part of them. The model is checked against a known hash before it runs. If it does not match, it is not run. PDF text recognition loads its English language file from this site. The scan is not sent. Extra fonts for the PDF editor are also loaded from this site.
4. Email
If you write to ganvyatech@gmail.com, Ganvya uses your address, your name if you give one, and the message to reply and to handle the point you raised. The message is not used for advertising, and it is not sold. Keep a message for as long as it is needed to handle the enquiry, and for as long as a legal duty requires after that.
You may ask what a message we hold says, ask for a correction, or ask for it to be deleted when it does not have to be kept. Write to the same address and include enough detail to find the message.
5. What this policy does not do
eTools does not sell personal information and does not use advertising cookies. A browser extension you installed can read a page. This policy cannot disable that extension. Do not paste passwords or customer data into a shared or recorded screen.
The sites are not directed at children, and they do not ask for an account. Do not send personal information about a child.
6. Changes
Ganvya may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change. The terms and the licensing page cover use of the site. This policy covers personal information.
