Terms

1. The service

eTools is a set of hosted tools. You do not need an account. You may use the tools for yourself and for work you do for a client, on the conditions in these terms and on the licensing page.

Where a tool page says the tool is free forever, Ganvya will not later charge a fee to use that hosted tool. Ganvya may still change how it works, correct it, or remove it. The PDF editor, the photo editor, and the engineering studio are free with limits. Their pages say so. A limit on those tools can change.

The PDF editor, photo editor, engineering studio, and background remover are marked beta. A beta tool can be incomplete. The description on the tool page is part of what you are using.

Tools can be added, changed, or removed. A result can be wrong. Check it before you rely on it, including before you send a document to someone else or order material from a quantity.

2. Your files

What you open and what you type stay on your device, as the privacy page describes. You keep the files you download. You are responsible for having the right to use a file you open, and for not sending Ganvya material you have no right to share.

An email to ganvyatech@gmail.com is used to reply. It is not confidential, and it does not create a contract, unless Ganvya has agreed to that in writing. Do not email a password, a customer list, or a confidential drawing unless that agreement exists.

3. Engineering and construction tools

This is a planning estimate. Confirm quantities against the structural drawings before ordering or cutting material. They use the assumptions written on each page. They are not a structural design, a code check, a specification, or a quotation. Confirm quantities against the drawings, and have a qualified person check anything that will be built.

4. Acceptable use

You may not:

• disrupt, overload, or attempt to break the site
• probe, scan, or test it for weaknesses without written permission from Ganvya
• use it to break the law, or to harm another person
• copy the site or the tools and present that copy as your own product, or as a product of someone other than Ganvya
• use the names Ganvya or eTools for your own product, or imply that Ganvya made or endorses your work
• sell, rent, sublicense, or frame access to the hosted tools
• remove the Ganvya or eTools name from the service
• send malware, or attempt to take data that is not yours
• scrape the site in a way that degrades it

Ganvya may suspend or block access that breaks these rules.

5. Names and the hosted service

The Ganvya name, the eTools name, the marks, the site design, and the text on this site belong to Ganvya, except where a page says otherwise. The licensing page states what use is allowed. Use of the tools does not transfer the software, the site, or the names.

Libraries included in the page stay under their own licences. The site is described as open source. A licence file published with a copy of the source, if one is published, is the licence for that copy. It does not license the Ganvya or eTools names, and it does not replace these terms for the service at https://etools.ganvya.com.

6. Other sites

Background Remover can download a model from Hugging Face and a runtime from jsDelivr, as the privacy page describes. Those downloads do not include your photo. A third party’s site is governed by that site. Ganvya is not responsible for a third party’s site.

7. Availability and warranties

The site and the tools are provided as they are and as available. Ganvya may change, suspend, or withdraw the site or a tool for maintenance, a fault, or a product change. Ganvya does not promise uninterrupted access, or that a tool will keep its current behaviour.

To the extent the law allows, Ganvya excludes warranties that the site or a tool is accurate, complete, fit for a particular purpose, or free of errors. Rights that cannot be excluded under the law of Sri Lanka remain in force.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Ganvya is not liable for loss of profit, loss of data, loss of business, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or the tools, or from being unable to use them.

Ganvya’s total liability arising from the free site and tools, for claims in any 12-month period, is limited to the greater of the fees you paid Ganvya for that use in those 12 months and LKR 10,000.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law of Sri Lanka does not allow Ganvya to limit, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You will cover Ganvya for a claim by a third party that arises from your misuse of the site, from material you had no right to use or send, or from your breach of these terms, except to the extent Ganvya caused that claim.

9. General

These terms are governed by the law of Sri Lanka. The courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction.

Ganvya may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change. If you keep using the site after that date, you accept the updated terms.

If a clause cannot be enforced, the rest stays in force. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. Ganvya may transfer its rights to a successor that takes on the site.

These terms, the privacy page, the cookies page, and the licensing page are the whole agreement for use of the site.
