Licensing

These licences cover the hosted service at https://etools.ganvya.com. They are granted by Ganvya. Use of the site is also subject to the terms. If these pages conflict on a licence question, this page prevails. If they conflict on any other question, the terms prevail.

1. The site

You may view this site and link to its pages. You may quote a short passage for criticism, reporting, or discussion, with a link to the page and credit to Ganvya.

Any other copying of the text, layout, or mark needs written permission from Ganvya. This licence does not let you copy the site, mirror it, or use its pages as the basis of another product.

2. Names and marks

Ganvya, eTools, eTools by Ganvya, and the Ganvya mark are names and marks of Ganvya. Use of the site does not give you those names.

You may use the names to refer to the product, in ordinary language, without implying that Ganvya made, sponsors, or endorses your work. You may not use them in your product name, your logo, or a domain that suggests you are Ganvya or eTools.

3. The hosted tools

You may use the tools at https://etools.ganvya.com for personal use and for commercial work you do for yourself or for a client. You do not need an account. Where a tool page says the tool is free forever, there is no fee for that hosted tool, and Ganvya does not intend to add one later. The PDF editor, the photo editor, and the engineering studio are free with limits, as those pages state.

You may use the results you create. Those files are yours. You are responsible for checking a result before you rely on it.

This licence covers the hosted service. It does not transfer the software, the site, or the names. You may not:

sell, rent, or sublicense access to eTools
present eTools, or a copy of it, as your own product or as a product of someone other than Ganvya
remove the Ganvya or eTools name from the service
operate a competing hosted copy of the service under the Ganvya or eTools names

Libraries included in the page stay under their own licences. The site is described as open source. A licence file published with a copy of the source, if one is published, is the licence for that copy of the source. It does not replace this section for the service at https://etools.ganvya.com, and it does not license the Ganvya or eTools names.

Engineering and construction tools are estimates, not a design, a code check, or a quotation. The limits are in the terms.

4. No warranty

The licences on this page do not include a warranty. The site and the tools are provided as they are. Liability is limited as set out in the terms. Rights that cannot be excluded under the law of Sri Lanka remain in force.
