How to format JSON

Questions
Does this accept JavaScript object notation?
No. The tool uses the JSON parser, so keys must be in double quotes and trailing commas are rejected. That is the point of validation.
Is my JSON sent anywhere?
No. Parsing and formatting happen locally. Do not paste secrets into a shared screen, but the page itself does not transmit the text.
This runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server.
