Concrete Volume Calculator
Calculate concrete volume for a slab, wall, beam, column or cylinder, then estimate cement, sand and aggregate from a mix ratio.
Free forever.
How to calculate concrete volume
- Choose the shape and enter the dimensions. Switch the inputs between metres and millimetres if you need to.
- Multiply by the number of identical members.
- Pick a mix ratio to see dry volume, cement bags, sand and aggregate. The dry volume factor is 1.54.
Questions
How many cement bags are in a cubic metre?
It depends on the mix. For 1:2:4, one cubic metre is about 6.3 bags of 50 kg. The tool uses a dry volume of 1.54 times the wet volume and 0.035 cubic metres per bag.
Should I order this exact quantity?
Order from the drawing quantities, with the waste allowance your site uses. This estimate ignores wastage, spillage and variations in batching.
