Questions
What is an in-12 pitch?
It is how far the roof rises over a 12-unit run. A rise of 6 over a run of 12 is 6/12.
Do the units matter?
Only that rise and run use the same unit. Metres over metres and millimetres over millimetres give the same pitch.
