How to remove a watermark
- Confirm that you are allowed to edit the file.
- Type the watermark words if they are part of the page text. Leave the box empty to remove only stamp and watermark annotations.
- Download the result. If nothing matched, cover the mark with the redaction tool.
Questions
Will this remove a scanned watermark?
No. A mark that is part of a picture has no separate text to delete. Draw over it with the redaction tool, which rebuilds that page so the covered text is gone.
What else can disappear?
Stamp annotations are removed, including an approval stamp stored as a stamp. Signature fields and comments are left unless their text matches the words you typed.
