Questions
Why did my transparent PNG gain a white background?
JPEG has no transparency. That export fills transparent pixels with white so the subject does not turn black. PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF and SVG keep the transparent pixels.
Is the conversion done on a server?
